SUMMARY:Bell Ringing
DESCRIPTION:Colin Holliday\, Tower Captain of the St Comgall’s Church of Ireland Bell Ringers’\, will give a short introductory talk about bell ringing which will be followed by the church bell ringers’ practice session.   \n\n\n\n\nSt Comgall’s Church of Ireland Bell Tower with the light showing from the elevated Ringing Chamber during practice\n\n\n\nDoors open at 7.00pm. The bell ringing talk will be held inside the church.  Once the talk is over\, guests will move outside to hear the bells ring to herald the start of the Columbanus Festival.  \n\n\n\nPlease wear appropriate clothing for the outdoors. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCar parking is available in the ASDA Car Park (enter at Castle Street or Main Street) or  Bingham Road public car park (off Hamilton Road). \n\n\n\n\nBook a Ticket\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nReturn to Columbanus Festival 2023 Events Page
