Experienced and qualified tour guides Bridget Watson and Barbara Boyle will lead a guided walk tracing the footsteps of Columbanus from Bangor to Bobbio following the Bangor Bell Trail, starting from Bangor Abbey car park.

This is a short walk of around 500 metres on flat ground.  Walkers should prepare for the outdoor weather and wear appropriate foot wear.

The walk will end at the North Down Museum where participants can view the original Bangor Bell and explore the Columbanus exhibition.  After the exhibition, walkers may wish to treat themselves to a cup of tea/coffee and a bun in Cafe Cure which is located beside the museum.

Parking is available at Bangor Abbey Parish Centre which is accessed by Abbey Street.
